8 Bishopsgate Part 2: Plantroom and Floors

After having successfully supplied the High Performance Isolation, Double Regulating and Commissioning Valves for the Riser application in 8, Bishopsgate, FloControl was invited to tender for the General and Domestic Valves for the Plantrooms and 51 Floors.
The project manager was looking for a single source for the entire valve package for the plantrooms, branches and public health applications, able to supply on short lead times and to manage call-offs, working with the main, as well as the sub-contractors. The product had to match the consultant spec. Cost effectiveness was a key consideration.
FloControl offered products that not only matched the specification, but also obtained an A rating from the consultant, clearing the way for the contractor to reward FloControl the supply contract. FloControl was able to supply all the valves, coordinating shipments with the main and various sub-contractors. The scope of supply included Isolation and Check Valves, Strainers, Pressure Reducing Valves, Thermostatic Mixing Valves and Thermal Balancing Valves, in sizes from 15-300mm, with pressure ratings PN16, PN25 and PN40.
